Expanded Spatialities is an artistic project that reconfigures the image of the city beyond its physical forms, offering an experience of lived spatiality. The project transcends the traditional perception of the city as a collection of streets and buildings, exploring the interplay between fiction and reality through photography, performance, collage and installations. The artists incorporate the history of places, the human body, and residents’ memories to expand and transform the perception of urban space, challenging the globalized and homogenized image of the modern city.

Curator: Laura Bivolaru
Project Coordinators: Claudia Retegan, Mihai Șovăială
Graphic Design: Vlad Mat

The cultural project is co-financed by the National Cultural Fund Administration
